GOLF ASSOCIATION OF MICHIGAN - GAM GOLF DAYS
In 2013 the GAM will continue to offer the GAM Golf Days and attempt to expand playing opportunities to a wide variety of players throughout the state whom are GAM Members. New for 2013 is a Senior Division for players 50 and up. This new division will play a shorter yardage than the Men's Division.
This unique series of one day events provides an added value to your GAM Membership and offers experiences at some of Michigan’s best GAM member clubs. The continued expansion of the GAM Golf Days schedule has allowed the creation of more opportunities for GAM members at some of the best facilities around the state. GAM Golf Days offer a casual yet competitive day of golf to all men and women golfers who take advantage of their GAM Membership. Golf Days provide a playing opportunity to GAM members no matter how you play the game. Whether you are a tournament player that finds your schedule built around GAM Championships or just like to get out on the weekend with a favorite foursome, the GAM Golf Day series will offer a great day at a fantastic golf course for you. Prizes are awarded for both Net and Gross divisions and competition is governed by the Rules of Golf but an emphasis is put on enjoying the game of golf.
All events are limited to 84 players and are shotgun starts. Your $60 entry includes 18 holes of golf, cart, range balls, and prizes at the conclusion of the round. Each player receives their full course adjusted USGA/GAM Handicap. Players must have an active USGA/GAM Handicap to be eligible in the Net Division. Registration will close one week prior to each event a waiting list will be maintained by the GAM once an event is filled to capacity. Pairing requests will be taken a week prior to the Golf Day after an email soliciting these requests is sent out. Requests will not be taken prior to this email, no requests will be taken over the phone.
