Oakland Hills CC - North will play host to the 108th Michigan when the state’s most prestigious amateur championship heads to this legendary venue June 18-22.

In 2016, the course hosted the stroke-play portion of the US Amateur Championship. It most recently held the Michigan Amateur in 2012.

For competitors not exempt, sectional qualifying for the 108th Michigan Amateur will be contested at 14 sites from May 6-June 1. There will also be a Second Chance Qualifier held at Owosso Country Club on June 5. You must post an 18-hole score in one of the sectional qualifiers to be eligible to compete in the Second Chance Qualifier.

The Michigan Amateur begins with two rounds of stroke play, over a two-day period. At the completion of stroke play, the field is cut to the low 64 for the first round of match play. Match play continues for three days and six rounds until a champion emerges on the final afternoon of the tournament. As with all GAM Championships, spectators are welcome and admission is free.
