Hawk Hollow Golf Course will play host to the 111th Michigan Amateur when the state’s most prestigious amateur championship heads to this challenging venue June 27 – July 1.

The Michigan Amateur begins with two rounds of stroke play, over a two-day period. At the completion of stroke play, the field is cut to the low 64 for the first round of match play. Match play continues for three days and six rounds until a champion emerges on the final afternoon of the tournament. As with all GAM Championships, spectators are welcome, and admission is free.  

Who: Men, GAM/USGA Handicap Index of 5.4 or lower. Entrants must meet the GAM State Amateur Residency Policy.
When: Sectional qualifying – May 2 – June 8. Championship - June 27 - July 1

Format: 36 holes of Stroke Play, followed by the low 64 players advancing to Match Play
