USGA Qualifier Player Information
This correspondence will verify your entry into the US Mid-Amateur Qualifier at The Moors Golf Club on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. 

INFORMATION

NEW GROOVE CONDITION OF COMPETITION: The player’s clubs must conform to the groove and punch mark specifications in the Rules of Golf that are effective from January 1, 2010.

You should arrive at your assigned tee at least ten (10) minutes prior to your scheduled starting time for instructions from the starter.

QUALIFIER DATE: Wednesday, August 12 

DIRECTIONS: Take US-131 to West Center Road. Go E on West Center Road to Moorsbridge Road. Go N on Moorsbridge Road to the club.

PRACTICE ROUND:  For practice rounds at The Moors Club please contact the golf shop for rates and availability of practice rounds - (269) 323-8873. Contestants must call in advance to reserve a tee time and identify themselves as U.S. Mid-Amateur Qualifying contestants. 

GPS AND RANGE FINDERS: In this competition, if a player uses a distance-measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play, AND USES IT FOR THOSE OTHER CONDITIONS the player is in breach of Rule 4.3, for which the penalty is TWO STROKES for the first breach of this rule and DISQUALIFICATION for a subsequent breach during the stipulated round.

FOOD:   Food and beverage may be purchased at the snack shop.

CADDIES/CARTS:  All players are required to walk. Contestants may carry their own bag, or bring their own caddie.  Carts are not permitted for players or spectators. Pull carts may be used if the host club allows them. Spectator carts are not permitted by the USGA.

PRACTICE RANGE: The driving range will open one hour prior to the start and is complimentary for players, prior to play only.
 
PLAYOFF:  In case of ties, there will be a playoff immediately following play for the final spot as well as the order for the two (2) alternate positions.

WITHDRAWAL: If you must withdraw, please contact the USGA at (908) 234-2300 leading up to the tournament. If you have to withdraw the night or weekend before then, please contact the GAM office at (248) 478-9242. If you call after business hours, please leave message on voice mail #124. Failure to notify may result in suspension from future USGA and GAM competitions.
