COURSE OF THE WEEK: Springfield Oaks Shines in Oakland County

Oaks Golf Course is a scenic 18-hole course located in Davisburg.

It opened in
1973 and is one of five Oakland County Parks Courses.

The course
plays to a par-71, with the front nine being very open and hilly. The back nine
plays tighter, with more trees and water. Springfield Oaks is certified by the
Michigan Turfgrass Environmental Stewardship Program for exceeding requirements
to protect natural resources.

Oaks offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers at every skill
level. Well-groomed fairways and greens keep Springfield Oaks difficult yet
friendly, and the staff can offer tips and tricks for playing your best round.
