NOVI – The Golf Association of Michigan is
once again taking part in the Michigan Golf Show and giving golfers the chance to
join anew or renew membership as well as discover all the other benefits of
“Getting in the GAM.”
The GAM, which last year served over 60,000
golfers and 470 member golf courses and clubs, will have a booth at the show,
Friday through Sunday at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River
Ave. GAM staff and volunteers will assist you with your golf needs including
membership, handicap index information, tournament information, opportunities
to play great golf courses, rules and more.
The show will include over 400 exhibitors
from retail, golf resorts, travel destination and top Michigan courses, as well
as instruction and seminar sessions, putting and hole-in-one contests for
prizes and more.
Show hours are 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 9
a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $12 for
adults and children 12-and-under get in free. Women are admitted free on Friday
between 5 and 7 p.m. for special show events, and military veterans will be admitted
with military identification or a veteran’s identification card between 10 a.m.
and Noon on Sunday.
Golfers need not worry that joining the GAM
or renewing membership are just golf show opportunities. Those things can also
