Boyne Mountain Named in Best Family Golf Resorts List

Boyne Falls, Mich., May 15, 2007 ? BOYNE, the Michigan division of Boyne USA Resorts, is pleased to announce that Boyne Mountain has been named in Golf for Women?s inaugural ?25 Best Family Golf Resorts? list published in the May/June 2007 issue. The announcement was made by Bernie Friedrich, vice president of BOYNE?s golf operations.
?The 25 destinations that made the list were chosen, first and foremost, for their willingness to encourage families to play together, be it on short courses, with family tee times or in kids-play-free programs,? reads a portion of the opening paragraph to the feature.
The write-up on Boyne Mountain called the resort, ?A Lower Peninsula mainstay with Bavarian flavor and plenty of everything: golf courses, accommodations and deals.? Highlighted are BOYNE?s junior and family golf programs, Boyne Mountain?s new Mountain Grand Lodge, Solace Spa and Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark, The Alpine golf course for best family play, as well as numerous resort family activities. BOYNE?s junior golf program allows golfers age 17 and under to play with a paying adult for free during twilight hours and to golf any other time with a paying adult for only the twilight golf fee.
