Jeff Roth Wins Michigan PGA Senior Championship
Jeff Roth captured the 2009 Michigan PGA Senior Championship overall victory at Forest Dunes Golf Club in Roscommon, MI today by shooting a two under par first round 70 and followed it up beautifully with a second round 69 to finish 5 strokes under overall. ?Jeff, along with 10 others will advance on to the 2009 Senior Professional National Championship in Port St. Lucie, FL. later this fall. Bob Makoski shot 74-68-142 to win the Senior Division. Randy Erskine took top honors in the Super Senior Division, shooting 70-74-144 and Nick Berklich took first in the Legends Division with a 74-75-149.
Forest Dunes did a fantastic job hosting the event and the course was in amazing shape. Thanks to all the staff for their help and support with the tournament.
