100th Michigan Amateur deadline extended through Monday, May 2 

FARMINGTON HILLS – Registration for the historic 100th Michigan Amateur at Boyne Highlands Resort – The Heather has been extended through 5 p.m., Monday, May 2. The oldest and most prestigious amateur tournament in Michigan, the Michigan Amateur celebrates its 100th anniversary this year June 21-25 at Boyne Highlands Resort – The Heather.  If you have a Handicap Index of 5.4 or below, you can be part of this historic tournament.

The tournament begins with two days of stroke play followed by three days of match play.  This is one of the few tournaments that combines stroke and match play for what is always an exciting and fun tournament. Choose from qualifiers at Walnut Creek CC, The Emerald, Sunnybrook CC, Pheasant Run GC, Edgewood CC, Gowanie GC, Clio CC, Arbor Hills GC, Boyne Resorts- the Alpine Course and Greywalls. Boyne Resorts is offering a special discount packages for those traveling to the tournament and staying at Boyne.
