Auburn Hills, MI—June 22, 2010—The City of Auburn Hills, a dynamic community committed to innovation and growth, has simplified how golfers can get to Fieldstone Golf Club on the Internet. The public course was given a new stand-alone web address, www.fieldstonegolfclub.com, and a redesigned site to showcase its unparalleled facilities, hospitality and services.
According to Fieldstone Manager and PGA Professional Gordon Marmion, the impetus for the new web address was to streamline the process of how the public found information about the golf club.
“Instead of having to go through the City’s website to link to Fieldstone, users can just go directly to the golf club, making it accessible to an even greater audience,” Marmion says. “Fieldstone Golf Club offers an exciting experience that many private clubs try to emulate, and we wanted to live up to that expectation with an exclusive web location.”
In addition to its own address, Fieldstone Golf Club’s redesigned website utilizes an easy-to-use drop-down menu format to provide comprehensive details about the golf club’s course layout, dedicated staff, pro shop and fees, banquet accommodations, practice facility, the Vista Grille bar and restaurant, and more.
“Incorporating the new website into the Fieldstone experience will help the golf club achieve its goal of surpassing last season’s 32,000 rounds of golf and 125 golf outings,” Marmion adds. “We are consistently rated among the top public courses in Southeast Michigan and our new website reflects that of a highly regarded club.”
