Michigan Golf Live is pleased to invite you to break out the mittens, long johns, ski caps, and golf clubs for a most unique way to round out the golf season AND help care for the hurting and homeless at the same time!
Hosted by MGL’s Bill Hobson, the “No Matter What” Golf Outing will be a blast for all who play, if for no other reason than it’s golf when you least expect to be playing! All the details are below and if you have any questions, please email them to:[email protected]
What: Fun, friendly golf outing specially designed for the insane, diehard golfer who refuses to pack up his/her clubs for the season, even in November!
Where: The Majestic Golf Club in Hartland near M-59.
When: Saturday, November 20th – 10am shotgun start, lunch and awards to follow
Format: FUN! Since this is our first attempt at such an insane event, there’s no telling how many will come play. So, determining the format will be done once we know how many to expect. Possibilities range from standard individual Stroke play (if we only have a few players) to a Best Ball/Alternate Shot format if we have enough players for some team competition. Either way, our goal will be to enjoy the day, stay warm, and realize that the season’s four majors are already done so relax and enjoy the outing.
Cost: $50 per player ($20 is tax deductible) – includes: 18 holes with cart, range balls, lunch and prizes PLUS proceeds will be donated to Carriage Town Ministries (homeless shelter in Flint) to care for the hurting and homeless during the cold weather months. Registration: DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS THURSDAY, NOV 18. In order to help us know how many will be playing, we ask you to register before Thursday, Nov 18th by sending your $50 fee/donation ($20 of it is tax deductible) via Paypal.
