RULES WORKSHOPS FOR INDIVIDUALS
During the winter/spring, the Golf Association of Michigan is offering to all Michigan golfers, the opportunity to attend a workshop on the Rules of Golf. A knowledge of the Rules of Golf will save you strokes on the golf course! These workshops will cover the Rules all golfers need to know – relief options for water hazards, unplayable balls, obstructions and abnormal ground conditions, plus dropping and placing the ball. And, bring your questions and have them answered!
As an additional “bonus” the workshops will be held in the Michigan Golf Hall of Fame in Troy, and attendees will have the opportunity to browse the displays. The Hall of Fame is located in the Troy Office Center Building, 320 E. Big Beaver, Suite 160, Troy, MI 48083.

A minimum of 10 people are required for a session to be held.
The instructor for this program is Jeanne Myers, GAM Assistant Tournament Director. Jeanne has been a Rules official for 25 years for the GAM, the USGA, and the Michigan Section of the PGA. She has worked nearly 100 national championships including three U.S. Opens and fifteen U.S Women’s Opens.
