Sponsors Make a
Difference at West Michigan Golf Show

(Grand Rapids, Mich.) Every year sponsors
at the West Michigan Golf Show make a vital difference in the staging of a
successful show. With their support and involvement, sponsors elevate the Golf
Show with more fan-friendly activities and appeal for thousands of golfers
making their way to DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids on Feb. 13-15.

So drum roll, please for:

Gun Lake Casino is a new sponsor
of the $10,000 Longest Putt Challenge where patrons compete for prizes while
also raising funds for charity. At its booth, it offers patrons $10 in free
slot play or free table game wagers. Located 20 minutes south of Grand Rapids
off US-131, Gun Lake Casino features over 1,600 slot machines, 33 table games,
including $5 Black Jack, Craps, Roulette, Midi Baccarat, and more. It’s also
home of live, local bands, six nights a week, no cover. Visit

The Golf Association of Michigan
(GAM), a steadfast exhibitor for the past 27 straight years, returns as a
sponsor representing nearly 60,000 amateur golfers and over 400 courses in the
state. The GAM gives patrons the opportunity to sign up or renew their “2015
GAM Golf Card Membership” and receive a sleeve of golf balls (while supplies last).
Membership perks include: the ability to post scores on a mobile website;
ability to play in GAM Golf Days – fun, casual one-day events at exclusive
Michigan golf courses; and receive a free subscription to Golf Digest. Visit

The Michigan P.G.A. and Boyne
will sponsor and provide free golf lessons all weekend. Juniors will
enjoy GolfZilla and GolfiGator, inflatable targets, at the Family Fun Zone. PGA
officials will be on hand to talk about: the fast-growing PGA Junior League;
Drive, Chip & Putt Championship; and Get Golf Ready programs. Visit

In 2015, Boyne is a leader in
northern Michigan golf with three Michigan golf resorts and eleven gorgeous
courses, award-winning instruction, vacation packages, tournaments, events and
more. Improvements this season include: completion of a bunker sand project on
The Moor; redesign of No. 18 tees on The Monument; redesign of holes 16-18 on
the Art Hills course; and clubhouse renovation at Hidden River Golf and Casting
Club. Tee times for 2015 are available now. Visit

Longtime sponsor Treetops Resort
continues its popular Par-3 Challenge where patrons will tee it up at a real
par-3 hole, competing for closest to the pin prizes and hoping to make an ace
on Sunday afternoon and earn $25,000. Patriot Golf Day and Folds of Honor are
the designated charities. Visit

Held continuously since 1989, the West
Michigan Golf Show offers hundreds of exhibits and will feature clinics,
