 The Michigan Women’s Golf Association (MWGA) is embracing the spirit of the USGA Play9 movement with its July 11th 9-hole 2-Woman Star Spangled
Scramble in Red, White & Blue. The fun event will begin with a 3:00pm shotgun start at Glen Oaks Golf Course in Farmington Hills, Mich. All ametuer female golfers are invited to participate. MWGA members are encouraged to bring new players and potential members.
The all inclusive price of $45 includes golf, cart, range, special games, prizes and a buffet dinner. Registration is available online at www.mwgolf.org under the Events tab. Questions may be directed to Nancy Serra, Tournament Director ([email protected] or 248-770-5144), who states: “The time to be ready is 3 p.m. for a shotgun start, so be there or be square! Red, White & Blue is the dress for you! Hope your partner will be new and hope your strokes will be few. We know that both of you will join in with the crew. Who will have fun with you at the event we’re calling the RED, WHITE & BLUE?”
