GRAND RAPIDS – Back by popular demand by holiday stocking stuffers, the West Michigan Golf Show’s 50% off ticket sale is underway.
From now until December 31, 2015, Secret Santas looking for a nifty bargain gift may buy $10 adult tickets online at half-price to the 28th Annual West Michigan Golf Show on Feb. 12-14, 2016 at DeVos Place in downtown Grand Rapids.
The process doesn’t require the services of a geeky elf, either. Simply go to the West Michigan Golf Show’s homepage at www.westmichigangolfshow.com and click on the BUY TICKETS button. From there, select the “holiday offer” ticket type and enter code “HOLIDAY” when prompted.
The 2016 Golf Show will be the hot ticket in the cold of winter with Golf Channel’s Michael Breed as its headliner. One of the game’s most recognizable teachers, Breed has rocketed to national prominence due to his hosting of The Golf Fix weekly series, now in its seventh season and seen in over 80 countries for Golf Channel. The show airs on Mondays at 8 pm ET.
Breed, the 2012 PGA of America’s National Teacher of the Year, is the Director of Instruction at the Michael Breed Golf Academy at Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx—a Jack Nicklaus-designed championship course open for public play. With a golf career spanning over 25 years, Breed was honored by Golf Digest in October as the 13th best teacher in America as ranked by his teaching peers. He’s also the 13th nationally honored teacher by the PGA or the LPGA to appear at the West Michigan Golf Show.
Held continuously since 1989, the West Michigan Golf Show is sponsored by Treetops Resort, Golf Association of Michigan, and the Michigan PGA. It attracts thousands of Michigan golfers to hundreds of exhibits and will feature clinics, putting contests, junior golf instruction, swing analyzers and unbeatable golf shopping values. Several charities benefit from the Show, including Patriot Golf Day, Folds of Honor and First Tee of West Michigan.
Produced by ShowSpan Inc. and held at DeVos Place, the West Michigan Golf Show hours are 2:00 pm-9:00 pm, Friday; 10:00 am-7:00 pm, Saturday; and 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday. Tickets at the box office are $10 for adults (but remember to buy them in December for the holiday discount), $4 for children ages 6-14, and children 5 and under are free.
