The Golf Association of Michigan is pleased to announce it will be hosting a series of Rules of Golf Seminars this offseason to highlight the significant changes coming to the Rules in 2019. The date for the West Michigan seminar is:
Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Cascade Hills Country Club, Grand Rapids, MI
This is in addition to the seminars scheduled for Nov. 27 at Country Club of Lansing and March 15 at Plum Hollow CC in Southfield.
The seminar will feature PGA Professional Mark Wilson and once again include a “PowerPoint” computer graphic presentation implemented for the USGA’s Rules of Golf education program. This is a dynamic presentation of the Rules of Golf. PGA Professionals and MIGCSA members will be eligible for “Continuing Education” points.
Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The program will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:00 p.m.
Lunch and refreshments will be included. The cost for the seminar will be $40.00. All seminar participants will receive a 2019 Rules of Golf book. In addition, copies of the 2019 Official Guide to the Rules of Golf (replacement for the Decisions book) will be available for purchase.
Deadline for registration is Monday, March 4. Registrations forms may be downloaded from the website or distributed through email upon request. On-site registration will not be available. Attendance is limited and will be offered on a first come – first served basis.
