GAM GOLF DAY SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP: Final Winners Crowned at The Cardinal

PLYMOUTH – Chilly temperatures and wind did not stop the GAM members who have taken advantage of the Golf Days presented by Dunham Sports and found success this summer.

Those golfers who won net or gross honors in a previous golf day this summer, 83 strong, played in the season-ending GAM Golf Day Series Championship presented Monday on The Cardinal, the new championship destination course at Saint John’s Resort.

The 15th season of GAM Golf Days concluded on the popular new Raymond Hearn-designed course, which is the first championship course to open to the public in Metro Detroit in over two decades and is the centerpiece of a golf transformation at the resort.

Fall colors added to what is already a sparkling green expanse that is drawing rave reviews in its first season hosting golfers, and champions were crowned in net and gross scoring among men, women and senior men. Among the prizes were the choice of a free Golf Day next summer and Dunham’s certificates were handed out, too.

The Series Championship flight winners were Nick Badgley in men’s gross scoring, Braxton Fonville in men’s net scoring, Pam Tyler in women’s gross scoring, Deb Wolfe in women’s net scoring, Chris Kallgren in senior men’s gross scoring, and John Blake in senior men’s net scoring.
