The Daryl Kesler Family, along with the management and staff of Hawk Hollow Golf Properties, are happy to announce the opening of Woodside Golf Course. The course will open Friday morning, 9-2-11. This nine hole golf course is located on the west side of Wood Street about midway between State Road and Clark Road in DeWitt Township. The address is 14400 Wood Road, Lansing, MI 48906 and the phone is 517-242-8527.
Tee time reservations are now being accepted. The nine hole course is situated on a beautifully wooded piece of property. Stately hardwoods frame the generous fairways. The putting surfaces feature an interesting mix of gentle and challenging contours.
Special grand opening rates will remain in effect for the remainder of the 2011 golf season.

A little history / information about Woodside:
The course has been under construction for over 18 years. It has been a labor of love for the Kazenko Family. Almost all of the design, shaping, seeding, and on-going maintenance of this facility has been done by a father and his son. Now with the help of the Kesler Family, owners of Hawk Hollow, Eagle Eye and the Falcon golf courses, their dream of a quality, affordable course will become a reality. We believe that our customers will have another option and another reason to make Hawk Hollow Golf Properties their number one choice for golf in mid-Michigan.
Work has begun on an additional three holes, designed by Chris Lutzke, who also designed and oversaw construction of Eagle Eye Golf Club. In 2012, Woodside will become one of only a handful of 12 hole courses in America.
