MWGA Eraser Tournament Results

MICHIGAN WOMEN’S GOLF ASSOCIATION 36-HOLE STROKE PLAY ERASER Sat-Sun, Sept 15-16, 2012, The Dream Golf Course, West Branch, MI

 

September 19, 2012. Michigan Women’s Golf Association members, spouses and friends enjoyed two days of competition at The Dream in West Branch during the MWGA 2-Day 36-Hole Stroke Play Eraser Tournament held September 15 and 16. It was a 2-person team event. Thirty teams were divided into three flights. Each player played his or her ball throughout the 36 holes. On the second day the team score per hole was determined by taking the better score of the two days for each player and adding them together. First and second gross and net prizes were awarded by flight. Teams placing were as follows:

The last MWGA event of the season will be the 4-Woman Member/Guest Fall Shamble at Sycamore Hills GC in Macomb on September 30. In a Shamble format, all players will hit a tee shot. The best shot of the four will be selected, and all team members will place their ball at that location and play individual stroke play from there until holed out.
